What wedding planner doesn’t love a beautiful space to hold a wedding? We get to work in a lot of beautiful spaces throughout our season, but every time we see Wolfe Heights listed as the venue on our inquiry we do a little happy dance! Today we are highlighting some of our favorite aspects of the venue.

Wolfe Heights is located in Sacramento and features stunning grounds with an onsite winery, olive orchard, gorgeous estate house + bridal suite for the bridal party, pond & willow tree with paths surrounding the ceremony and reception spaces. Every angle is picture perfect!

You can take the most luxurious shuttle over to the olive orchard grove for your couple’s portraits and then come back over to join your cocktail hour with your guests while the sun goes down and the glow of the market lights gives the romantic vibe you dreamed of.

The reception design was elegant yet minimalistic and featured bistro chairs, matte gold flatware, mercer dinner plate with a neutral table linen. We loved the balance of the whimsical florals that softened the overall aesthetic of the space!

Northern California Wedding Planner | Lake Almanor Celebration ~ Kelly & Robert

It only took us a few images in Kelly & Robert’s wedding gallery to feel like we were right back amongst the trees in the crisp spring air watching these two amazing people exchange their vows. Kelly & Robert’s intimate wedding served the full Lake Almanor experience for their guests!

The vision was always clear for Kelly & Robert, so where did we come into the picture? Logistics is pretty much our middle name, wait..do businesses have a middle name? Anyways - the point is we were focused on creating a timeline that encompassed all of the wedding events at both Lake Almanor Country Club and Plumas Pines as well as the shuttle details across the lake (by boat) leading to the sparkler entrance and much more.

Bringing vendors in from Chico, Redding and the surrounding areas to deliver an exceptional service for our clients involves factoring in travel, load-in logistics, layout details, sound checks, and the overall flow of all formalities. This is what we live for!

In our eyes a perfect wedding venue can host events of all sizes and shapes, and truly be personalized to each couple’s vision. White Ranch is right up there with our list of favorite venues in Northern California, because we couldn’t have asked for a dreamier location for Clara & Aaron’s long awaited wedding.

With 2022 right around the corner, our hearts are still full from all of the love that we witnessed through patience and perseverance of our couples along every obstacle that Covid through their way. Clara and Aaron planned their Chico wedding all the way from New York and it was a true pleasure to get to be along their side through all of the planning phases leading up to the big day. TreCreative captured the smiles, the happy tears and so many incredible moments of joy.

Growing up with your best friend involves late night chats, passing notes in class and of course dreaming about the happily ever afters! Being a part of this wedding was a dream come true in the making, ever since I met Christina in Jr. high school. It also meant taking off the wedding planner hat and stepping into the wedding party role!

These two worked together on the details for their wedding, closely in tune and in sync on what projects to take on next. Wedding planning and craft nights, on top of their busy schedules with shift work - pretty impressive!

When most couples have to change their venue unexpectedly it understandably comes with some compromise or some areas that weren’t quite what the couple had planned originally. When we stepped foot onto this property we were thinking Grace & Ben definitely came out on top! Grace’s mom opened up her home and property to host the wedding and there couldn’t have been a better space for the event.

This backyard wedding didn’t feel like a backyard, it had the charm and intimacy of the familiarity that comes with celebrating in a space that you are connected with. As always a huge thank you to all of the vendor pro friends who make events like this possible! It takes a solid team to be able to execute the room “flip” needed in order for us to transition from ceremony to reception in the barrel room at Almendra. This means that during cocktail hour we shifted the draping to create a cocktail area while our team along with the rental company removed ceremony chairs and brought in all of the reception tables, centerpieces and moved the arch to frame the sweetheart table. It makes our hearts so happy when our couples get to see their vision come to life!

Taylar’s ability to roll with the obstacles and changes throughout her planning was pretty amazing, her focus was on her ceremony and to only put energy into what was within her control. This is so challenging, we know that no couple wants to be impacted by something like Covid-19 but our hearts are so full when we see love win like this! Joel captured their day so beautifully!

Northern California Wedding Planner | Paul J. Wines - Plymouth, CA ~ Clarice & Raul

When we first met Clarice, we could tell that she was so excited to be Mrs. Velasquez. There was such pure and wholesome energy that came from her presence, the anticipation was contagious! With loads of collaboration from their family and friends, an amazing group of creative professionals, it was a perfect October day! Enjoy these highlight images from Dani Padgette Weddings!

Before the festivities began, Clarice got ready for their first look at her grandparent’s estate up the road where vineyards that produced the wine provided for the wedding was grown. Look at those smiles and tears of anticipation!

Their perfect fall wedding day was held in the backyard on the stunning property of her uncle’s winery in Plymouth, CA; Paul J Wines. With florals designed by her best friend, Olivia an altar constructed by Clarice’s dad and brother, and a view to die for, each element came together to create a truly sentimental wedding.

No eye was left dry after witnessing Raul and Clarice’s sweet vows to each other.

To kick off the party, DJ Or asked guests to join the dance floor group by group by the amount of years they’d known the couple and within a couple minutes it was packed with guests ready to break out their best moves. The night was filled with great food, drinks, and so much dancing all night long.
