If you haven't heard us say it before, we think we have pretty much the most amazing job. As a wedding planner we get to be a part of a very special time in couple's lives and we get to work with some of the top wedding professionals and artists in the area.
Having a flexible schedule during the day to meet with clients, take calls, go on site walks etc has its perks, but when you work from home or independently in your own space it can be hard to stay up with the hustle. This is where the Rising Tide Society comes in (@risingtidesociety), an absolute breathe of fresh air and the most humble group of creatives come together to lift each other up.
Just like we tell our couples you have to have an outlet, whether it is working out, cooking with your partner, gardening, decorating your home, going out with friends etc. Having a mental break from planning your wedding is uber important for you and for your relationship. We sometimes forget to take a break ourselves and connect with others, and that can get lonely!
We have learned so much from this amazing community, from focusing on more work/life balance, Instagram tips, and most importantly we have witnessed #wavesofkindness from all over the nation. After today's local Tuesday's Together meeting, we are so inspired that our to-do list didn't stand a chance!
What has you motivated to knock out your goals?
